I like being a merc because there's no limit to what type of people I can stab from a distance or explode.
Though my psychotic murdering will be curbed to match the pace of the rest of the group, so long as I can snife (read sniper knife) and splode people/aliens/things i'm cool. Also just sayin, knives that shoot explosions, they exist.
I'm down for Mercs/siegebreakers. I like the specialist feel and a group that works well together (even if they don't always like each other).
I've actually never been out to your place, but I'm sure it would not be an issue.
As for timing, that's unfortunately a little up in the air for me right now. My work situation is such that it'll go one of two ways: a: I work from home Sun - Thurs 1PM-10PM after Lyss and I move south. b: I get a job that I interviewed for today and I work until 6PM Mon - Thurs. We'll just have to see what happens until this works out.
Hmm, house west of Philly? I'm not sure I've actually been there. I don't mind heading out there, but I'm limited if there's no (reasonably) nearby methods of public transportation. I had assumed you still lived within the city proper. I am not restricted to any particular time, though. I check e-mail more often than Facebook, and Facebook more often than LJ, but I check all of them at least once a day, so coordination through any of them is fine.
I'm most fond of the Heist theme, though either of the others is just fine as well. The type of character I'd like to play would be, I think, more influenced by the theme of the game. I have many ideas :)
The house is just west of the city in the burbs, and only a few blocks from the r100 high speed line and not far from several Regional Rail stops. It would be quite possible to orchestrate public transit, though I am not sure where you'd be making the hike from.
It is sounding like the final determination is that folks are interested in a Merc/Freelancer style game. With that in mind, you're a small group of freelance experts, dispatching from a ship that happens to "Sponsor" you and help you organize deals. What's your group's name? What's your specialty? What won't you do for a cool Throne Credit?
