I'm all set to go back to work tomorrow. The Tamiflu's all been taken, and I'm now free of most symptoms, although I'm still not bursting with energy and my appetite's not entirely returned. I'd guess I've lost around four or five pounds. But yeah, there's no reason I can see not to be back in the office ( Read more... )

I know all those haunts - well, I know of the Big Red, but for some reason have never actually gone to it. But, yeah, those are all familiar!

My plans for the next couple of weeks consist of Vagabonds near London Bridge, on the 29th (I can't guarantee This Corrosion getting played, but I doubt they'll get through the night without some Sisters making an appearance) and probably also Inferno at the Electric Ballroom, Camden Town, on the 4th September. Those tend to be good. Oh, and there's an all-day alternative live music festival on Saturday 5th called 'Dark Mills' but I don't have the details to hand.
