It looks like I brought back more from Whitby than I'd bargained for - I have an evil cold and have called in sick on what was supposed to be my first day back in the office. I'm sure I will be - just need a bit of R&R between now and the 8th.

In fact, it's *probably* a good thing I've come down with an illness now, rather than catch a bug at the 11th hour...

Not quite permanent yet, but give it another three weeks and I will be! The cat already regards me as a permanent piece of the furniture.

A new immune system would be nice, but for now I have home-made vegetable soup, Beecham's Cold & Flu and Doctor Who, which is near enough the same thing :)
