[Sunny. A true sky. The young woman shields her eyes. Warm. No scent of something rotting in the wind. She brings her hand down, smoothing out the meaningful right over left folds of her kimono with thin fingers. Different. Not as peaceful, not as funeral. She moves like water. Wandering, flowing, going wherever the next path directs her to move, ( Read more... )

[She pauses in her step. Hoh...such animated looking bones; not so much different from where she originates. Should she touch them? Should she not? She almost lifts her hand, but instead her gaze moves to find the owner of the voice.

She bows her head courteously as if to say she does not mind them.]

[the skulls fly back to De-chan, chattering excitedly]

Oh- are you new here?

[The Storyteller smiles. To say things are new. It could be that is what everything is, that 'rebirth' happens from moment to moment, from each brush of air or touch. If that is true, she will always be new, reforming herself.

Well. Best keep this simple.] I am... [Anddd she drifts off in thought.]

HELLO THERE TO YOU TOO waraeyayomae November 5 2011, 20:14:47 UTC
[Ah, she notices you, too. The illusion of difference fades for a moment as something familiar surfaces in her memory. She could almost say she knows you and your story quite well; and she is honored for such a tale. But. Change is ever present, the only constant. She cannot tell if this is the same girl or not, not with her eyes half lidded as they are.

She decides to be the polite one, to give another nod of her head in greeting.]

[She smiles. What indeed? If they should all have the same form, or no form at all. She decides to reply simply, humbly.] ...Human. [But so very much dead, so very much tainted with grave soil, that it takes her a moment to think of this answer.]

A simple storyteller, that is all.

[well, here's one who would probably miss you entirely if she hadn't heard the rustling of the parasol as she passes by]

Good evening!

[The young woman turns at the greeting. It has been the first formal one. She is about to bow in greeting, to remain silent, but she notices: no sight.] ...Good evening, Lady. [There is a smile in her voice.]

Miku-dono... [She's just this respectful to anyone, really.] No, you are not old...I did not mean to offend. [Have another bow.]

K--Kyouneko, come back!

[ A small, rather pudgy white cat suddenly dashes around the corner, head held high with a belled collar at its neck. Upon seeing the young woman, it approaches her then prances at her feet, pawing at the hem of her kimono. Around the corner in pursuit of the cat comes a little girl who scoops him up in her arms and gives the woman an apologetic bow. ]

Um... Sorry about that.

[She lets the cat dance around her, and she smiles at its brilliant coat. Someone must care for it very much. She looks at the girl, extending her hand--there is no need to bow, least of all to her.] It is alright. [She doesn't mind cats. At all. So she'll still be staring at that cat now.]

Um...

[ Toeto sort of shifts the cat around in her arms, trying to avoid leaving his legs dangling. In the end, she supports his back end with her hand while resting his paws on her shoulder and extends her own hand, to shake. ]

Um... are you new here?

[Another western greeting that follows a bow. She smiles at this peculiar blend, liking it more than she would admit. She takes the hand in her own, shaking it once with the barest amount of pressure.] Indeed, I am...
