A slightly different explanation for the bus crash:

As evidenced by the pic you posted, Logan's ass is nearly touching the bus. THE BUS MUST DIE! SCREW THE OCCUPANTS!

This is BRILLIANT! It explains SO MUCH. It's also probably why the PCHers burned down Logan's house -- in hopes that his ass will shack up with them. How they must have cried when he turned to Duncan.
