One of the more wonderific things about "Veronica Mars" is the way the writers mix reality with flashbacks for some phenomenal plot and character movement. Fic writers take a page from that book in this week's Tuesday theme: Dreams.

Heh. Well, it showed up on the list I made of everything that was rec'd previously, but maybe I grabbed it from the "claimed for reccing" by someone else list by mistake. In which case, I owe someone an apology, but I'm glad the rec is out there, cause it's a great story.

Ahhh. See, I was really just trying to cover my nosiness about how y'all run vm_fic, by acting all confused about whether I was recced before or not. :-) Anyway, thanks for the rec and for the nice words!

LOL. We're pretty much an open book. We rec what we like, and we tend to identify themes and go searching out other fics that we like that fit the theme. Beyond that, it's pretty loose.

Before we do a theme post, we let the others know what we're working on, and we each have a list of things that we've read and liked that we intend to rec at an appropriate point. Sometimes we steal each others' recs, too *g*. We tend to try to avoid repeats just because folks out there want new and different stuff, but sometimes a fic fits a theme *so* well you just have to repeat.

I'm always up for suggestions, btw...maybe we ought to post that in one of the rec posts again sometime soon. It's on the info page, but it never hurts to remind people we're wide open.
