got out of the hospital yesterday; I'm up at my mom's, which was not as painful a drive as I expected. (actually, none of this has been as painful as I expected. I think my pain threshold is more of a pain plateau. badass

sweetness! I am much too excited. I stopped in the (crochet-friendly) LYS by my mom's, and they thought it was totally feasible once I'm allowed to use my right hand. (right hand is a bit short-bus at the moment.) yay, yarn!

if my surgeon doesn't laugh when I tell him, I'm gonna go back on the 17th, maybe part-time. my brain thinks I have a lot more stamina than my body does, so I hafta make sure that me taking it easy is included in the paperwork. :-p
