turns out that the lobby of the Philly Sheraton smells just like the lobby of the NOLA Sheraton (which in turn smells just like my Demeter fig leaf perfume, I think). I suppose it's not a coincidence, and I shouldn't really be that surprised, but I am ( Read more... )

well yeah, the city and the people both. I think if I were the type to relocate on a whim, New Orleans might be on my shortlist. at least I've got friends and a mom (and man, it's just not right that you haven't met my mom!) who want to do NOLA to tide me over for now. :)

Man, I dunno! I have to work next Saturday, so unless I can sneak out of work earlyish, not for a couple weeks. plus I could use a little time to recover from the souvenir yarn I've bought recently. I spent more on yarn in Philly than I did on food and travel combined, I think!
