It will be a busy weekend and an ever busier week. My assistant has suffered a death in the family and will be out all next week. This increases the workload just a tad. I'm going in today for an hour to set up some stuff, and tomorrow I have an evening set-up for and early Monday experiment.

I got a card like yours, but mine had Santa Sheridan. It lived on my piano until February, and then it was put away FOR me. Hmph.

That is a steampunk brooch I bought on Etsy (from an LJ'er actually). A couple of years ago I make a steampunk Army of Light costume for a local convention. No one had any idea what it was (except one young guy who kept saluting me because of my command bar. I did like that.) The brooch and necklace are from that outfit. I still wear the jacket with the jewelry to cons.

Santa Lennier will stay up until next Christmas I'm pretty sure...

Funnily obsessed or obsessively funny? Hi back at you. Quit your job yet? I'm at loose ends today for having so much to do. Guess I just don't want to do any of THOSE things. I will go try to make home-made hummous. From dried chick-peas cause I'm just that way. I couldn't find tahini in the store so bought sesame seeds to grind and mix with sesame oil which I had for some reason. I am digging a hole of obsessiveness here, aren't I?

I quit! And I'm living the dream! Except all the stress and worry gave me a neck strain that I'm trying to recover from, and so I'm staying away from keyboard and trying to rest and having physical therapy. I know how to live, let me tell you!

SO envious! Not of the neck strain but you knew that. Though there have been times when physical therapy would have been living the dream...that is so sad, isn't it?
