S.A.D. resolutions

So I am, as I said, not dealing well with winter. It's a comparatively sunny day, and I do feel better, but overall I'm curmudgeonly. Mostly I think because I spent the morning in bed, reading a crappy novel I hated (why did I read it, you ask? Out of curiosity, I reply. I thought it was going to be enjoyable fluff. Feel free. I highly recommend the sunrise clock and the Magic Blue Light (it's actually a Philips goLITE, the one with the timer setting) as a means of combating the SADs. The sun hasn't risen yet and I'm awake - as in actually alert and aware and not grumpy and miserable.

I'm not refreshed, but then I didn't sleep well, since I'm in the early stages of trying to reset my body clock.

(drawback: the goLITE comes from Amazon and requires some power transformer fiddling to charge in Australia without blowing it, but we have a decent transformer ready to go).
