S.A.D. resolutions

So I am, as I said, not dealing well with winter. It's a comparatively sunny day, and I do feel better, but overall I'm curmudgeonly. Mostly I think because I spent the morning in bed, reading a crappy novel I hated (why did I read it, you ask? Out of curiosity, I reply. I thought it was going to be enjoyable fluff. It turned out to be unenjoyable, cranky-making fluff), and I'm still slightly nauseous from my brush with Michael's gastro.

So here are my resolutions:

1. I will get up in accordance with the sunrise alarm clock, unless I am actually sick, and I will not go back to bed.

2. I will give the Magic Blue Light a fair chance of at least half an hour in the morning.

3. I will try to crawl out of my hermitlike shell and catch up with people.

4. I will go to bed at a sensible hour (lights out by 10:30pm) except where this conflicts with #3.

5. I will stick to my exercise schedule except where it conflicts with #3 (for the curious, my schedule is: Running: Sun, Tue, Thurs; Weights: Wed, Sat; Pilates: Mon; Day off: Friday).

I am also considering getting back on the Lite'n'Easy bandwagon, due to the sheer lack of stress and increase in good feelings involved, but that's not quite up to "resolution" status at this point.

The whole point of this is to prevent me wasting an entire day moping and feeling sleepy and exhausted and miserable, which is what happens all too frequently at the moment. I just get so damn tired.
