Important survey regarding next year's vid submission format for vividcon

Hey everyone,

while you wait excitedly and impatiently for this year's Vividcon, I'm already thinking of next year. Next year, I'd like to change the vid submission format. omg a usb stick with the vids would make me SO HAPPY, I would beg and plead to have this as an option! <3

Have answered the survey :o) I agree that MP4's would be great. There are so many good freeware programmes around (Handbrake, MPEG Streamclip) which make such wonderful quality files with very little tweaking or requirement of tech knowledge, it does make encoding really easy... plus it's such a readily playable format on mobile devices and home theatre systems these days. I'd also be totally happy with a data DVD with the vid files sorted into folders, if USB sticks were cost-prohibitive. Then I could save the files directly to my hard drive/media server and stream to my TV or any of my mobile devices. Vid Nirvana :o)
