Possibly new car
I've decided to try to get a new car this summer. Any suggestions? I really have a preference for manuals. -

Don't ever leave your car in a parking garage for a few weeks. The exhaust particles can build up on your wheel axles and make your wheels stick, which means a tow truck will have to come and drag your car out. Which means you will have a terrible day. -

Food = Good
I recently joined the foodporn and cooking livejournal communities, and it has really added quite a lot to my cooking. More recipes, more ideas, more ingredients. Today I made enchiladas from scratch. Sometime I am going to make them with Matt's grandma to get that authentic Mexican-ness, but I think I did a good job, and they were damn good. New jobz
Prof. Pyrak-Nolte has hired me to work on her biomimetic growth in rock fractures research project. W00T. Finally a real thing to do. Operating a particle accelerator is boring. Also, bought my 3-day ticket to Pitchfork Music Fest this summer. Now I have to do the paper I just started for my bio lab at 8:30 tomorrow. I'm a horrible procrastinator. -
