I find your Shinou pretty adorable. Also, he has that mix of arrogance and love that's pretty great. Because clearly he cares about Murata and wants him to be happy... but with him and doing things he wants him to do too. As long as the two work together everything will be fine. :D

And yeah, my friend keeps showing me pictures of Mini Shinou. I'm getting there I'm getting there! I watched 4 episodes today. It's just hard right now cos I'm watching KKM and Blackpool (though I'm almost done with the latter).

Thanks! I *tried* to do him canon justice...but there's so little of him in canon to work off of, I don't really know. If you picked up fondness and arrogance, though, that means I succeeded. :D Writing angry!annoyed!Murata was incredibly hard, because 1) he's hardly EVER annoyed in canon, except for one FRICKIN' ADORABLE SCENE WITH MINI!SHINOU (Murata didn't even get to say anything besides something like "I told you not to ride on my shoulder!" looking really perturbed) that MADE MY LIFE. I CAN DIE HAPPY NOW BECAUSE OF THAT SCENE. (Can you tell I fangirl them hard?) And 2) the way Murata speaks is so distinctive, but I'm pretty sure that's only his voice actor's intonations, not any particular idiosyncratic speech pattern. At least the subs never translated it differently, and from my incredibly sketchy knowledge of listening to Japanese, it wasn't noticeable.

It is canon that these two prank each other, though. <3 (WAIT UNTIL YOU GET TO EPISODE 25 OF SEASON 3, IT IS MY FAVORITE KKM EPISODE EVER. Not just for the two-minute Shinou ( ... )
