Yeah... So I like the Harry Potter series, a lot (though not as much as my mom!) Although JK is not the best writer in the world, her stories are amazingly well thought out and gripping. Lol they add events and remove the elves in book movie 4. Movie 2 had a choir, they add all sorts of nonsense. that way harry potter ppl will still love it and those who are borderline won't have as many issues.

I don't know if I should let you know or not what they added, 'cause it's HUGE! Like seriously... Adding in a choir is a movie touch, something that would kinda hard to portray in the books and it fit the scene well. (Plus, come on, it's Shakespeare; who doesn't love the bard?)
S.P.E.W. is awesome... but I can see why they dropped it; it's not a super vital importance, is it? Sure, it gets the house elves to like them a bit more, but not so much more as they already like students. It's more to build Hermione's characters, which is built in other ways by the actress in ways that can be portrayed on film that can't in the books...
