Lol. I know what you mean by a sewing mood. I have loads of clothes i am cutting down and fixing tears in, i am so hard on my clothes. and lara said "you should just handsew it you are better at that anyway" I stuck my tongue out at her but i love the peace and quiet of stitching so i am mending the old fashioned way,.,...i am insane. :)

*hugs* the quilte can only last so long and just think how much happier you will be when it is done. I took up knitting with lara. apparently i messed up so much she can't frog my knitting back to normal on one stitch but i caught it in time to prevent more frogging needed. i have to wait for beth to come over on my birthday friday in order to get it frogged lol.

No, hand-stitching is enjoyable in a certain way. Depending on what the thing being stitched is, it often is faster to mend by hand then to pin, hook up the sewing machine, maneuver the clothing into place, etc.

... it's so bad you can't frog it? How'd you manage that one! Normally it's hard to not accidentally frog something *lol*
