The power to constrain an adversary depends upon the power to bind oneself

So sayeth Thomas C. Schelling. Nobel Laureate in Economics, and also, potentially, bondage enthusiast? Okay, probably not the bondage, or so I hope, for my own state of mind.

Anyway...he was the guy who just made my afternoon kind of torture. Because although today was the last day of classes, my econ professor did give us homework, due tonight at ( Read more... )

Heh. I'm sure that's true, but it's been more than a week...and she didn't really say, "I'm leaving tomorrow" or anything. I don't now, it's weird.

Wow, your econ professor sounds like a weapons-grade ass. Hope he doesn't expect anything like quality on all this extra work he's making you do.

I'd say that really depends on which half you saw. Like, a whole lot.

I'm with trippypeas, she's probably moving and forgot to stick up a "See you guys soon" post.

A final on Saturday morning? Ick! My school stopped serving food by Friday afternoon in an effort to get everyone the hell off campus. Well, good luck anyway, at least you have a bunch of time to study.

Well, I try for quality. I really need to pass that class, so I can't really complain that much about another opportunity to bring my grade up.

I saw the second half; I'm watching the first half right now.

I guess so, I just miss her a bit.

Heh. Yeah, my last exam is in exactly a week.

That's a good point. Doesn't stop it from being lame, though.

Well, there you have it. It's not nearly as funny as the Paire revelation, but there's still an element of "Gotcha, shippers, haha!" And I mean that as sympathetically as possible.

*sigh* Ah, well. At least it wasn't that much homework.

*snort* I'm not sure if it's better or worse that they've been hinting at it forever. Worse, because it gives me some hope of "Oh, that would be much too obvious..."

I miss her too :( Still in transit, I suspect. It might take them a while to get to the point where they unpack vital things. Like the computer. And c_quinn ;P

Good luck with your exams! You'll do great. Shout if you want some German coaching ...

...now you've got me wondering if they ship her like River. I think no, but...well, you never know.

Yeah, we'll see about the exams...I may take you up on the German, although probably not, as my study schedule is basically study one thing until you get bored of it and then move on to something else.

Wow, your mind is ... interesting. o.O

Well, that doesn't work too badly for a schedule. Good luck with it! :)

Yes, well...yeah, it is a very odd place, my mind.

Thanks! I did next to nothing study related today, but hey, I got an issue of my paper printed! So, that's cool.
