O, how the mighty have fallen. O tempora, o mores.

I just got back from my interview and... *shudder* Let me describe the situation to you.

I walked in the door, dressed professionally as requested (which, I'm sorry, but it's probably a bad sign if you actually have to remind people that it's inappropriate to waltz in wearing jeans and a ( Read more... )

It's totally tragic isn't it... when you have to deal with the devil in order to do a teensy weensy bit of good.

That's icky. You should totally tell DUMB you'll only accept a position if you can have his job. I'd be happy to paint the walls for them at a ghastly overpriced rate, you should mention something to them...

I'm going to die tonight, FYI. <-- teh emo kid haves a flavor

Jigga whaaaa?! that's a real classy place. THe worst part is, sometimes we know we're a thousand times better then the jobs we take/apply for. We know we're over qualified and if you have to work there, hopefully it will lead to something you are much more deserving of. Or it will serve for amazing mocking material. But I'm hoping you don't even have to give them a second thought.

Worse then working somewhere you know youre over qualified for? Not even getting an interview or callback at a place like that. garh!

*loves on you*

NEEEEEEEEEENEEEEEEEEEEEEE! ♥! I have meeeeeessed you!

I didn't even apply there. They found my resume online at Hot Jobs and were all, OMGZ WE WANT YOU.

And I was like... I'll bet, but you probably won't get me because a) I have standards, b) I'm extremely overqualified, and c) I probably won't like you.

Sounds like a tour through hell. Forget them, bills may need to be paid but not at the expense of your soul. Maybe in the future you can mail them some paint swatches and redecorating tips.

Hahaha, that would be rich, wouldn't it? I could also send them print-outs of their website and publications with all the grammatical corrections on it.

Maybe with a giant post-it saying: THIS IS WHY I CAN NOT, AND WILL NOT, WORK FOR YOU PEOPLE.
