Me: Serial commas! Ugh!!!

Me: You know, serial commas? When you have a list of three or more items, the serial comma is the one before the "and." Some publications don't use it, but ours does.

we don't use serial commas because we save something like eight barrels of ink a year by not using them.

WHATEVER, MAN. Clarity is at stake!

Plus, when it's a 500 word crappy essay... you might as well. The reader is already swimming in a sea of confusion. It's only humane to take some pity.
