I've been exhausted lately. Stupid me, I spent the holiday weekend staying up until 6 a.m. every night reading fic from a long series I'd never read before. You know, "Just one more chapter! couldn't you just do something novel like, i dunno, save your fic to a floppy and bring it home.

i mean, i'm as forgetful as the next chick, but still...

I just don't have room for any extra expenses right now. I'm working on a 5-year-old computer at home, after all....

While the work PC is old enough that it still has the kind of disc drive I use, I don't know how I could carry a disc around without someone noticing and wondering. Accounting either saves to the F drive or their hard drives. Me trying to sneak around carrying a disc around from my Mac desk (which can't use those discs) to my PC desk would draw attention, and that's the last thing I need while sneaking in some fic writing at work. I'm nervous and paranoid already.

Do you have any suggestions?
