I saw The Two Towers today and liked it, though my brother was pissed about all the stuff they changed from the book. ( spoilers )

fantasy, lord of the rings, movies, books

Wirrrn in da house,

-Loved it. I espescially liked the Merry/Pippin bits. I had to resist temptation to start singing "Merrty & Pippin, sitting in a tree, k-i-s-s..." etc!

Loved the scene where Eowyn looks disappointed as Aragorn gives his immortality pendant to *Legolas*...

Gav!

Never let it be said that we ignore the obvious comments!

Poor Eowyn. In love with a man who has an elf fetish. You saw Legolas' reaction to the realization that Aragorn fell off the cliff....

Elijah Wood just gets prettier the more tortured he is. His near-orgasmic reaction at times to the call of the Ring makes me smirk.

That line just cracked me up. He just suffers so very, very prettily. (No wonder the elves wanted to keep him afterwards!)

(I've heard about the torture of naked Frodo in The Return of the King book and am wondering how the movie will present that, since this is Peter Jackson.)

Following up on a random link (about the tour guide being published that covers the LotR movie locations), I ran across a part where the guide's author talked about being on set and seeing the filming of the scene that includes the line, "You can't walk across the dark land in naught but your skin, Mr. Frodo," or something like, which brings me great hopes that squeeing fangirls like myself will get to see some skin in a year...

The elves have also known one another for centuries. I'm sure they're always hot for the chance to add pretty, exotic new meat....

There may be naked Frodo? Yes!

Which indeed explains Frodo's invite to the Undying Lands. (I can only assume they're just dying to get something exotic out there, since Gimli got to go, too.)

There may be naked Frodo? Yes!

My thoughts exactly!
