I had to replace entire motor 6 months after I bought it (used), which cost $7,000 for a USED engine. I have kept my old car ever since, because I am terrified of buying another used car and having to fix it. Mine is 2001 but runs great after engine fix.
I really recommend getting a Toyota Rav4 AWD. The parts are everywhere and cheap

someone on a discord server had half of a tree land on their honda a couple of weeks ago and is out car hunting, i put out the warning of Epic Doom re: hyundai in your (figurative) name. naturally someone else jumped in to talk about how wonderful *their* friend's hyundai situation is because they are the first owner and so All The Things are so covered that the company wants her dead. now we know who cursed your situation.
