WTF? They want you to keep driving and burning up oil for thousands of miles before they live up to their shitty warranty? Bugger that. I'm not a mechanic, but something sounds super fishy. Seems to me if it's burning oil like that, there's a chance of blowing the engine or doing even more damage.

I wish you luck with it, though, and hope it works out and this isn't just a run around deal.

Unfortunately, if I want them to cover the cost of replacing the damaged engine stuff, I have to do this. I can't afford it on my own.

I too hope they'll make good on their warranty.
