Thanks for the recap!
Yeah, the ep was predictable (Freya obviously going to be dead by the end) but Harper got in some good snark at least. I also liked the reactions to Tyr's marriage. I wonder how Beka feels about widowers?
Cracked up over Draco "Boris" Malfoy. He was a ringer for an adult Draco. I wonder what (if anything) the writers will do with the GenKnights in the future.

I figure that Beka has no problem at all with dating widowers.
He so is Draco. I almost expected to hear talk about "mudbloods." I hope the Gen-Knights get brought back; their philosophies and high-tech weapons make them interesting foes with possibilities.
Yeah, yeah, call me an inveterate Tyr/Harper slasher... but that little moment they shared was just so damn sweet. On so many levels.
I was kinda wondering, can a prophesied messiah actually die before he messiah-s, in fiction land? Of course that wasn't gonna happen. If nothing else, Dying Babies is just too darn depressing for the intended demos. But damn, it would be cool. Um. Except for the death part. But in a plot-twisty kinda way.
Anyway. Yeah.
"You're back! And your front!" Heh. We're marchin' on, baby.
maya (and how much did Dylan remind you of your dad in the whole "How long are we going to keep looking, Mr. Harper?" thing. Creepy.)
I think that's kid's protected. No way they're killing him. Though now I'm having nightmare images of the writers pulling a Connor on him.
Gee, Dylan, maybe Harper wouldn't be quite so eager to fling himself at Tyr for a hug if you didn't talk to him like he's three years old, hunh? Dylan came off as a total dangerous loon there.
And Kass wondered why I'm waiting before I give any serious thought to starting a Median 4. ::weak grin::
PS: Brother Mine copied a few songs for himself off the mix CD that he enjoyed. It's the gift that keeps on giving....

Though hey, if Andromeda could get Vincent Kartheiser....
Okay, yeah. Fine. He was, like, my one actual Teenage Actor Crush, based on an incredibly horrible movie he was fantastic in (and so, incidentally, was CKR :-) ). I like him on Angel. < g >
I don't think Tyr's son is gonna grow up anytime soon, though. For one thing, it's a storyline that doesn't focus on Dylan. :-p For another, if he's supposed to unite all the Nietzscheans...? Well. Maybe I'm a pessimist. But I really don't think we're going to see Li'l Tyr for a very, very long time.

Reminded you of a dangerous loon, reminded me of my parents. Just goes to show. ;-D Seriously though... when, in the very next scene overlap, Harper
( ... )
I actually like the guy playing Connor. I'm just annoyed by the things all the other characters are doing due to Connor being back.
True, Tamerlane would make it so the show isn't All About Dylan. Guess it'll be awhile before we see him again, then....
In the "three days" scene, I say that Dylan seemed like a dangerous loon because there's a big element of "Nobody dies until I say they can die!" in his answer. God much, Dylan?
Harper/Tyr snugglies indeed. I saw some screen caps a week before the show aired for me and just stared at the frames wondering what had led to that.
Mmmmm, pumpkin butter....
LJ went wonky for me for about 20 minutes today. I don't know what's up.
I'm usually a Dylan/Harper girl, though if I could find a Tyr/Harper story that I really bought I'd be flexible.
That ep was the first time I ever saw any Dylan/Tyr slashiness though. 5 days he looked for Tyr, apparently wouldn't even let people leave the bridge long enough to change clothes. I was seeing the slashiness of those two for the first time.
Since where are Dylan and Tyr friends? Did I miss something? I watch every week. When did that happen? Is that what passes for friends between an idealist and a Nietzschean?
I'm starting to think Dylan has a thing for Nietzschean men. I always suspected something between he and Gahris.
Prior to this episode, the slashiest Dylan/Tyr moment I saw at the end of "Una Salus Victus." You'd know the scene by Tyr shouting, "I do not belong to you!" ::grins::
Tyr first said that Dylan is nearly a friend, and Rommie says that she thinks Tyr sees Dylan as a friend, in "Lava and Rockets." Of course, Nietzscheans see nothing wrong with lies and secrets between friends.
Dylan and Gaheris had incredible sexual tension. And then the writers kill Gaheris 30 minutes into the first episode.
