I think some of the taller buildings are darkened for fall migration season. I don't know why birds are more likely to fly into tall buildings when they're lit up than when they're dark, but apparently this is so.

I've only seen Norman Reedus on Tumblr, but even I can tell the doll is much too clean.

I really don't understand fashion, I sadly conclude. I love "beautiful dresses with beautiful women in them," but I'm too narcissistic to get past the knowledge that a rigid, modern-art-textured A-line dress doesn't flatter me to really enjoy it on a mannequin. I need to see it on a live person who looks good in it.

That aside, I do really like the long dress with the black and white diagonal stripes.

I think I've heard of that before, though I have no more idea why than you do. It makes the skyline look somewhat eerie though.

There's a subset of fashion called "editorial," which is conceptual instead of flattering on real people. Some of it works for me, some doesn't.

You definitely have to go out and do things sometimes. Your mental health is important too.

Thanks. And sometimes I haven't been eating when I should, which, when I actually think about it, tends to be a sign of wanting something I can control.

A current thread on my Chiari e-mail support group shows me I'm far from the only one who can't find a medication that helps any of the emotional effects of chronic pain, stress, brain problems, and financial apocalypse that go with my disorder either.
