I am bitterly amused by something else. In the amazon.com reviews for Depeche Mode's latest album, Delta Machine, some reviewers are pissed that they don't still make exactly the same music they did in the 80s. I'm not kidding

I like "Living Things", but "A Thousand Suns" is probably my fave Linkin Park album even though it's one where I have to listen to the whole album in order instead of being able to listen to songs when they come up on random on my iTunes. But I like the whole album, so it's not exactly a hardship :)

I can listen to my favorite Thousand Suns songs at random on iTunes, but it's definitely a different and deeper experience when the whole album is played together.

I'm really interested in seeing what direction they take on their next album.
