The left hand side of the book has something quite different. And the grammar seems somewhat off.

Here's a direct translation, as best as I could figure out:
From life we left immediately, but the pain remains forever. What could be scarier than lose a son, husband and father.
Mom, wife, children.
(Like I said, the grammar is weird.)
