Sometimes the guest judges are funny for having their own arcane judging standards, like the candy shop woman who was taking points off for outfits that didn't use a lot of different kinds of candy at once, which wasn't actually the challenge.

nina and a dress made out of hundred dollar bills

That's a challenge I want to see!

Mizrahi had many of his own "...WHAT?" moments while judging.

Compared to everyone else's, Dmitry's dress this week was pretty good, but he's done better in the past... and been ignored for it then too.

I realized later that two people leaving on their own early contributed to Gunnar being kept this week.

all Nina has said this last season is either that it looks, pause, expensive, or it doesn't look, pause, expensive

I do think Dmitry is being robbed, although my housemate has started calling him the prince of darkness because apparently he looks like he should be
but as he also calls Elena Countess Dracula (not because she's Ukrainian but because she's really effin scary!) you just have to take it as read
I like Dmitry, he's doing so well, and he's much more subtly bitchy but there is part of me that wants him to do a balls to the wall ball room dancing dress, all sequins and feathers and something like neon orange, because....
actually that's a challenge I want to see! imagine Ven trying to do that kind of fabulous, remember what happened when they tried Bob Mackie, snicker snicker snicker, you know you're doing well when you have to throw taste out of the window

I also hate this zipper thing, it looks cheap and unfinished! Zippers aren't that attractive, I'll be happy when they go back to being hidden

Kef was all "Dmitry looks so pasty!" to which I reminded her that I was a goth so that's not a minus.

I remember that the costume for female wrestlers challenge turned out some cool and fun stuff, so I'm all for a challenge that's more out of the box and/or faaaabulous, like a ballroom dress costume or Oscar de la Renta ensemble.

I don't see why anyone would want an attention-grabbing long silver zipper down the back of an outfit. It does look cheap and unfinished.
