HELP

Since I loaded a new Add-on and exited out of Firefox I can't get Firefox to restart at all and that's including trying to bring it up in Safe Mode by hitting Shift as I try to open the program (at best I get Internet Explorer opening a window) and going to Run in the Start menu and entering "firefox -safe-mode" as mentioned here. Did you reboot? What error are you getting? Does the event log say anything? Tho' honestly, your best bet is probably just to reinstall firefox.

After my computer restart Firefox is back. Thankfully.

I'm able to start Firefox on my own as normal since I Restarted the computer. Yay!

It's a word count add-on, which didn't explain well enough in the bio page before I grabbed it that it's for "blackboard discussion board threads." I don't know what those are! I got so excited when I saw a word count program, but I've removed it because I'm not affiliated with Liberty University. I don't know why it was recommended to me by Firefox.
