Huh. I accidentally caught a bit of a small marathon of Naruto Shippuden on Disney XD. I didn't know XD had it. I'll have to keep this in mind and figure out the schedule since this marathon suggests Wednesday at 8:30 isn't the only time it's on.

So far, at least, and we're quite a way in, Shippuden is much, much less filler-ific than Naruto was.

Great. You know how the filler was driving me nuts.

Not just you! There's one fairly long filler arc, but it's plotty and it only gets kind of stupid in bits at the end. It does fill in one of the side characters in an interesting way.

Also, post-timeskip Sakura is so damn badass in the early episodes.

In what I'm watching tonight I'm glad to see her throwing down hard and being so much less whiny.
