I spent the whole episode hoping their client would die, which I don't think was the intention.

I just kept hoping someone would smack him, which would've been good enough for me.

I like Kenpachi because he's so clearly insane and I giggle that anyone takes him seriously, like, ever.

Smacking is not enough, because I could just imagine how much he would bitch about it and insult his ninja over it.

Most of the Soul Reapers talk and boast too much. It helps pad the episodes, which makes me resent it even more.

This arc has managed to make almost everyone stupid, unpleasant, and overly talky. It saddens me that the people who do a fairly decent job adapting suck so hard when left on their own to develop plots. I'd rather have watched twenty or so episodes of the cast just hanging out.

The cast is fun hanging out! Also, so much character development went on during that.
