You have my sympathy. I've been doing battle with building management for the last 3 weeks to get them to replace my broken air conditioner. It's been broiling in here (it routinely gets up to 84 degrees in my living room--and that's the room that has the AC unit in it--by the end of the day).
The Chiari makes me a mess in the heat--exhaustion, the shakes, worse headaches, dizziness, nausea, dehydration, mood swings--so you really have my sympathy. I wish you luck with building management.
I don't have your CNS issues, but the women on my mother's side of the family don't do heat well. Both my mom and grandmother have fainted from the heat at one time or another, and I once got heat exhaustion on a day when it was 78 degrees out (it was really humid, though). I hate heat.
My new AC unit was supposedly ordered on Wednesday and will be installed when it arrives. This is me holding my breath.
I'm good! A great friend sent a disc to me that contains "Midnight" through to "Journey's End." (I'm thankful to the person who will be providing "Forest of the Dead" and Midnight" on VHS for my dad.)
I thought "Midnight" was wonderfully creepy. But I'm annoyed by how new Who so often uses contemporary looking settings and props. The Midnight shuttles and people's fashions seriously are that much like our own? I had similar problems with the virtual reality created by the computer girl in the library. I know it was done for a kind of meta effect, but it annoyed me
