Substance-Free Responses

We all get a bit punchy at this job, since so much of the information involved is numbing and repetitive. A recent free response said that all alcoholic beverage containers, "both full and empty," are prohibited. I know they mean that they don't want students protesting that they shouldn't get in trouble for an empty bottle, but "all containers" ( Read more... )

Yep, never underestimate the creativity of teens who want to do something they're not supposed to. But ew! to the thought of them actually haveing drank Gatorade at some point to have the bottle.

Liquor bottles are often very lovely. But illegal on the campus in question, missy! ::grins::

My high school musta been odd. We had a yellow bin outside, and it said on it: "No Full Alcoholic Beverages Inside, Please Deposit Liquid"

I shudder to think.

It makes me wonder if they had someone collect the liquid at the end of the day: "Woo hoo! The harvest is good! It's party time tonight!"
