I'm glad I had an opportunity to browse Wild Adapter volume 3 at the bookstore, because I would have been annoyed if I'd bought it. I've loved everything else Minekura has done but Kubota and Tokito have about two shades of characterization each in this volume and the plot did nothing for me. Bummer. I haven't had time to read this yet, but I was looking forward to it. I normally love Kazuya Minekura, and the art books I saw for this series looked great.

The art is good, aside from how a lot of the characters resemble a lot of her other characters, but that's not the first time Minekura has done that. Sadly, I'm not happy with the writing or characters.

Volume 1 had moments I liked, but main character Kubota wears on me.
