My judgement of Voltaire as an artist is, alas, colored by these three things:

1] He once wrongfully denied my brother production credit on one of his albums.
2] He'd gotten so drunk the two times I saw him MC the Miss Goth NYC contest that he had to be directed and nearly carried onto the stage by the end of the shows. Be a professional, man.
3] One of those times he had a gothier Hasidic Jew look going on that I did not understand at all. *g*
