I haven't actually been able to get my hands on the latest Astonishing yet but I've read pretty much page-by-page descriptions of it, and yeah, I remember the first "it's my turn." But can Joss really despise Emma that much? or is there a Joss surprise in the works?
Okay, I started to read Saiyuki a long long time ago, but I was quickly overwhelmed (ie: no job=no cash). But I'm employed now!
So, is 'Reload' a sequel to the main Saiyuki storyline? You give a glowing review, so I intend to pick some of it up, but should I work on the bulk of Saiyuki first? It means more if you read Saiyuki first, since Reload is a sequel and shows how far the characters have evolved. You could do Reload by itself but you'd be missing a lot. Kougaiji shows up in the original series and so far in volumes 2 and 3 of Reload.
