Anybody else seen the season premiere of South Park? Wow, Matt and Trey really aren't bitter over Isaac Hayes at all, are they?

hahaha, you really shouldn't piss off someone who has your voice recordings from years and years of your work.

Heh. Yeah, that too, but the death scene killed me. *g* Plus, there was the whole vibe of "You don't want us to tackle Scientology, huh? Well, how does this stand-in grab you?"

imao, they made it impossible for him to say anything too, because then he would look like he was supporting pedaphiles. oh god the bear and the wolf fighting over parts of his body. that was so bad/funny.

Hey,

Oooh! Ooh! What happens?!

btw- I grabbed the R1 DVD of ROBOT CHICKEN the other day, and am still in hysterics. So far, my favourite sketches are Benny Hill's Funeral, Optimus Prime with prostate cancer, and SE7EN in the Smurf Village ("Jesus Smurfing Christ!"). I loooove Seth Greeb!

You know that Isaac Hayes loudly and publicly quit South Park over the creators' "religious intolerance," which Matt and Trey, rightly to my thinking, called bullshit since he was fine with mocking the world's other religions until the show did an episode on Scientology, right ( ... )

Hey,

That's awesome! Clearly Chef didn't learn the big rule of the show- Never Piss Cartman Off (and by extension, Trey and Matt) *g*

It was absolutely hilarious. I knew they were going to give him quite the lynching. But it was bittersweet too; the eulogy that Kyle delivers seemed actually heartfelt, and was quite nasty towards Scientology as well.

They're absolutely right, of course; those scientologists are a bunch of freaks.

What I want to know is...was that James Earl Jones at the end? I'm sure it wasn't, but man, I thought it sounded like him. Now HE would be the best replacement for Hayes.

I appreciated that the eulogy was touching, heartfelt, and funny while still jabbing Scientology with a sharp stick.

I don't know who was the voice of Darth Chef at the end, though I'd love to find out and agree that it would be great to have the voice of James Earl Jones on South Park.
