[Day in and day out, it's always the same. The boss calls for another batch, and I make what is required. It's not like any of the other gangs can compete with us. Or me, for that matter. And yet their pathetic dealers roam the streets, selling the worst product imaginable

I happen to come across me 'associate'. An associate who happens to be a chemist, and happened to turn a tidy profit in the meantime. A congressman, of course, did not deal with Mr.Wesker's type, but no one could prove that he ever had.

Hmmm...I think they will fit right in, then.

And I also think I should be the one to help with accommodations...

Do you know where they're staying? Perhaps we can visit them some time soon...

[He takes out a case and offers a cigarette to the others before taking and lighting one for himself.]

I hear that if people drop hints in certain quarters, they will show up.

I would prefer that you handle the arrangements however, or delegate it.

[He'll take the cigarette and light up.]

That, I can do. And with pleasure, my good congressman. Those who betray us find that it is the worst possible thing they can do.

[Cigarette in mouth, he takes out an envelope from the desk and holds it out to Kura.] I hope this is to your liking.

[He takes the evelope and examines the contents.]

You never fail to impress, Wesker. Also, the delay in your shipments has been taken care of.

And I can't help but chuckle on the exhale of smoke. It's only in my nature to impress...

I do my best. And I cannot thank you enough for taking care of that little problem. Did you find out who was responsible?

Someone new to town apparently, just registered to vote.

I laugh back. It's rare to meet someone who matches my own arrogance.

I like Kura. I really do. He knows just how to solve any problem I encounter. Him and his politics...

Well, I sure hope they vote for you. They'd be in the wrong if they didn't.

[He points at the man standing beside Kura.] And who's this?

I'm sure they'll lave me in suspense until the last minute.

I look back.

Security.

I smirk at this so called security. Sure, he's a bit intimidating, but can he be rough when he needs to be?

And the last guy...Whatever happened to him? Another swing vote?

[gotyourhair]

He's recovering. Another faction interfered. He's getting a nice bonus actually.

[viral_tyrant]

I let out another chuckle. Money and politics tend to go hand in hand in this area. Always has.

No expense spared, of course. I can only assume that he would be grateful to have you as an employer.

[He takes one last drag before discarding the cigarette.]

Good security is hard to find, so I'll pay well for it.

It's not even his money for that. Well, some of the bonuses are, but he can't exactly put some of the reward on government payroll.

And this one seems to be just as good. He's quiet. Knows how to keep his mouth shut.

And we all know what happens when they're not. I've had to take care of a few myself, and I hope this guy doesn't prove me wrong.

So where are you off to once you leave here?

He's smart, and he's getting paid for it.

Not entirely good form to talk abut him like he's not there, but he's getting paid for that too. Still, it didn't hurt to pay the man a compliment.
