I rather firmly believe that that show is the reason behind my love for all sorts of things, including astronomy, astrology, mythology, mysticism, and anime as a whole.
Oh my goodness, YES. When I was younger I had a habit of checking out a ridiculous amount of books about astronomy and astrology and constellations from the library... all because of Sailor Moon. XD

I think it's funny how much of an impact SM had on so many girls of our generation. Almost all 20-something geek girls I've met watched that show when they were little.
