5. A book with a story for you, that reminds you of something specific in your life (a person, a place, a time).
I find this to be a strange and difficult question. So I will answer in a weird way.
My Sailor Moon manga. Now, it's not the manga that have the significance (they're new, and in Japanese besides, lol), but the anime. yes I know I'm cheating, shut up. I was the biggest Sailor Moon junkie when I was a little kid! Got up every morning at 5 am to watch it, had the toys and the clothes and the lunchboxes. There was just something magical about it. Other girls wanted to be Ariel or Belle? I wanted to be Princess Serenity. (well, and Belle too, but you know what I mean.)
I rather firmly believe that that show is the reason behind my love for all sorts of things, including astronomy, astrology, mythology, mysticism, and anime as a whole. Considering that its my interest in the occult and fantasy that's really shaped who I am today...I think I'd be a really boring person if I hadn't fallen so in love with that show. /is lame
Imagine my surprise when I realized that the manga was about 100000 times better than the anime! flimsy linking to meme is flimsy
For a not derp answer, we'll go with Moreta, Dragonlady of Pern. She taught me that you don't have to be a boy to be a dragonriding badass. ^_^

Can it be mid-May yet? Please?
