Porous borders

This started off as an attempt to explain the emotional/mental side of scentsitivity, but it spread to encompass other ways in which I'm invaded.  I wrote it several months ago, and rereading it, there's a resonance between the way "normal" people seem to perceive me - that they are interacting with a figment of their imagination because they can't ( Read more... )

I've never had trouble with the concept of you existing, but I guess I'm not normal. I wouldn't want to be normal.

I am continually impressed by you, though.

one of the things about babies and pets to me that makes them so attractive is that they lack the capacity to judge and burn. they are helpless in that regard, so there isnt any place for a person to be around them, except healthy. its as if the default state of a person is to be ok, or maybe even happy. adults learn ho to judge, and to steal your life, to see into you with eyes that decide things.
