At first I thought that this post was one of your own experiences, and I was incredibly impressed. Then I found that it was another’s experience, but you felt strongly enough to make a point out of it and posted it. I envy you for this. I can see no better proof that a person can stand up for themselves and their beliefs without condemning others. Even if this didn’t happen to you, I’m positive you would react in a similar way. Through my observations of you, I have come to the conclusion that you have the compassion, integrity (and other relating words) that could match even Gandhi. Even when you saw a racial bias in me, you told me how you felt and your solution to the problem sternly but without even the slight bit of condemnation. Instead of making an excuse, I will give you an explanation. I was raised in South Africa and I had a lot of trouble in my life with black people. I can’t even think of what to call their race. That in itself sounds derogatory. I can’t call them African Americans because I am legally an African
