and i had absolutely the same thought about freddie when he said "effy loves me". imo, that's supper telling. he's not willing to fight for her, as we've seen before, and that kind of proves that he's with her because that's what she wants. but we've all seen that what effy really wants, she never lets herself have. so yes. i agree with you. freddie's just kind of a wishy washy pansy. he really fucking IS hamlet- he's never going to take action, and the relationship is going to self destruct AND HIS GIRLFRIEND IS GOING TO GO CRAZY.

This was great. I may be in the minority but I think Naomi should have fessed up. Poor Cookie was trying to do what he thought best though.

And the CE connection is undeniable. They actually talk! And the nod. I'm surprised the writers have shown this much of CE from Cook's perspective and struggle than Freffy being happy.

Effy told Cook she loved him because he was brave. Now, why does she love Freddie, again? I must have missed that part.

Me too. That's why I wouldn't understand it if Freffy were endgame because we're getting so much CE development now.

This is my main problem with Freffy. If we had gotten an actual reason for why she "loves" him then I would understand it a little bit.

C/E must be endgame (we deserve that much) and I'd like to think that when Jackaya were still going out they managed to convince the writers to put C/E back together in season 4.

Me too! I forgot to mention that in the commentary. It shows so much about his character. He puts up a front.
