Well, FilmFour is now on free-to-air TV! Excellent news, as long as they show a ton of decent films without the ads like they used to.

Anyway, they had some huge list show on Channel 4 to promote it - 50 Films To See Before You Die - an entertaining enough show, although once again it was choc-full of spoilers, and they didn't warn the viewer. I' ( Read more... )

No I haven't. I know it's one of those films people get passionate about (including you), must get around to watching it one day. I watch tons!

I was just about to say exactly the same thing. You must (must must must) see 'Breakfast Club'. If you never see any of the others, make sure you see that! (What's the betting you'll see it and wonder what the fuss is about?)
Of your other unseen ones I'd recommend 'Lost in translation' (which was on Film 4 last night) and possibly 'The Royal Tenenbaums'.

I'll tell you the one I want to see: Sexy Beast.
Unfortunately I had to cancel my DVD rental because the company was utter utter shite.
Oh well, never mind.
