FilmFourFree

Well, FilmFour is now on free-to-air TV! Excellent news, as long as they show a ton of decent films without the ads like they used to.

Anyway, they had some huge list show on Channel 4 to promote it - 50 Films To See Before You Die - an entertaining enough show, although once again it was choc-full of spoilers, and they didn't warn the viewer. I'm still angry after they ruined the end of Shallow Grave for me on another show.

Here's the list of films, with the ones I've seen in bold:

Aguirre: The Wrath of God
Alien
All About Eve
The Apartment
Apocalypse Now
Badlands
Black Narcissus
Boyz 'N The Hood
Brazil
The Breakfast Club
Cabaret
Chinatown
City Of God
Come & See
Dawn Of The Dead
Donnie Darko
Erin Brockovich
Fanny & Alexander
Fight Club
Heavenly Creatures
Hero
The Ipcress File
The King Of Comedy
The Ladykillers
Lagaan: Once Upon A Time In India
Lost In Translation
Manhattan
Manhunter
Mulholland Drive
A Night At The Opera
North by Northwest
Pink Flamingos
The Player
Princess Mononoke
Pulp Fiction
Raising Arizona
The Royal Tenenbaums
Scarface
The Searchers
Secrets & Lies
Sexy Beast
The Shawshank Redemption
Terminator II: Judgement Day
This Sporting Life
Three Colours Trilogy
Touch Of Evil
Trainspotting
2001: A Space Odyssey
Walkabout

Looks like I have a few to watch before I go, some I'm looking forward to more than others.
