Actually, I was thinking of something very similar to that! I'm not sure if that particular outfit in its entirety is a great idea (considering that I made it so long ago and I could do such a better job now), but something like that would be very pretty!

Also, the dress code says that skirts past the knee are a-okay for the ball, so you don't need to worry about it being ankle-length. =D

Ah, the Watanuki costume is virtually done (I need to make the buttons functional and that's it), and it's just the boring school uniform version. It's not very eye-catching, since my 'group' is either going to Anime North (Doumeki) or not going to con (Himawari).

But if I can manage to fit it in my bags, I'll bring it along anyway! It won't take too much room ... I think ... XD;;
