Finally!
After having hunted for the books since I first got the first two for Christmas years and years ago (I'd guess no less than six) I have finally found the last two in the series. The series in question is "A Man of his Word" by David Duncan, and the copies of the books in the Science Fiction bookstore in Stockholm were some kind of print-on-demand

Coffee is bitter, and it makes me not happy (i.e. bitter) drinking it, thus it is dready. Drinking it is a chore, and I'd suggest a combination of LCD and speed to achieve the same effect as the one you speak about.
At least, I would, had I at all been promoting drug use, which I do not.
