For some reason, the Tesco Value apple juice for 56 pence is a lot better than the more expensive varitety. I have no idea for why this is, but it is fact.

So you don't always get what you pay for. It's bizzare, but that is life.

That depends, In my experiance any bottle of (red) wine that is less than about £10 is pretty shit. £10 - £15 is good. you do however have to then pay about £40 - £50 to get a better bottle. That is shop prices not restuant prices where everything is more expensive.

Champagne is similar but with bigger price range gaps. You need to spend quite a lot to more to get a better bottle.
