In honor of my WFA runner-upness, I thought I'd post some examples of my very early writings as a kid. This is also part of my research for my next Secret Santa fic

how long it took to pull my tooth Ho hard it is to tell the truth.
Indeed, I think you've started to touch on some angst early there. That's...actually rather poignant. :)
Love the mafia flowers. Your post makes me want to go find the Trunk of Horror at my parents, crammed full of such joys. I vaguely remember writing a series of stories which personified each number and put them in relationships with each other (like 2 and 5 were married). No memory of whether I was writing 2/9 slash, though.
But oh, it's hard to take time out When thers so much to talk abot
That's the couplet that really gets me. What business does a third-grader have using "But oh"?
I used to personify my numbers too! For example, most of the even numbers were girls and the odd were boys. 7 was an exception. She was a girl.
I used to think this was weird until I read about the Pythagoreans. They not only assigned gender to numbers, but also sexual preferences. 9 was a gay male.

Do it! You know you want to. And I want to read them.

That...is awesome.
Also, after officially friending you I glanced back at your older entries and deduced that you are responsible for my giggling madly about possums for the last week or so. So...thank you!
Ah, these are classic. The one about skating is actually very good, I think - of course, you've always been much better with poetry than I could ever hope to be. "Caroline's Book of Poetry" should forever be shelved next to "The Ghost of My House."
I do look forward to your Bible illustrations; I believe you have described them to me before, since we had the same children's Bible growing up (I think?). Merry Christmas, indeed!

Whoa. Merry Christmas to me! Who is that supposed to be?
I have no naked man avatars to give you in return...Is Green Arrow okay?
I guess you could call my poetry cute. I'll have to show you my home-made pop-up book entitled "The Journey to Sunny Vally" sometime.
Thank you! I got some very good comments on my story! Thank you for giving me the courage to post it in the first place.
Merry Christmas!

I thought that "Come Skating" was extremely clever when I wrote it...
Things that kids write/draw are always a good source of merriment.
Merry Christmas!
