I just finished watching the first three episodes of the second season of The Vampire Diaries and there will be some very spoilery thoughts below the cut:

Jeremy: I'm just annoyed at his emo teenagerness and pissed that he got to stay alive while Anna got killed :P.

I also noticed how all the victims were PoC. This show really needs to do better, however amusing it is.

And now I need a Bonnie icon :). She'd kick the tv executives' asses into shape in no time :).

YEAH, that pisses the fuck out of me. I am especially still really freaking mad that Pearl and Anna died. But I've disassociated that from Jeremy living; his emo teenage angst just somehow fits to me. Every show has one of those kids, you know?

Snap. i find Jeremy whiny too, I would rather he did SOMETHIN, became vampire or something at least!

I am so interested in the werevolf storyline.

I just KNEW there'll be warewolves. Ha! I thought the now dead mayor was one and I'm sure Tyler (mayor's son) is one too. Who's Uncle Mason? A new character?

I haven't watched the new season yet. Too many other things to finish first.

Yes, Uncle Mason is a new character. He's the Mayor's younger brother who shows up in town for the funeral.

I finally just caught up.. just watched ep3. I can't agree more. I agree with everything you said.

I agree Jeremy sort of deserved it.. so darn whiny! I'm glad we didn't see him this ep, lol. Even though it's wrong.. it kind of broke my heart when Elena said Damon is dead to her. :/ Sigh my soft spot for Damon. :P

I KNOW Damon is a cold-blooded killer, but he does have his vulnerable moments as well. It's very much a love and hate relationship watching him in this show :D.
